WHO ARE THE JAGS?

The Adelaide Jaguars are proudly a female only club. We have built a culture, a community and a club with a success we are proud of - all on the back of the idea that female football should be a priority.

We were founded by a group of parents that were sick of seeing their daughters pushed to the corners of the field without lights, without equipment, and with the last choice coaches. They wanted something better, and we’ve created it.

The Jaguars have a tremendous history of developing top level talent. We have a massive group of players in Football SA State Teams, including NTC Captain Zoe Tolland, that have come from our club. The number of squads and teams at our club is growing exponentially. And, our senior team has shown that a development focus and female only football environment can lead to some exceptional outcomes at an elite level.

Add to this our academy, with over 200 female players participating in the program over the last 12 months, and we have the perfect foundation for a female coach to come in and begin her coaching pathway.

We strongly believe that there is a special connection between female players and female coaches. We want to be a club that helps female coaches begin their coaching journey in a positive and supported environment.

SO. INTRODUCING THE ADELAIDE JAGUARS FEMALE COACHES PATHWAY OPPORTUNITY.

Our club is looking to provide female coaches with an opportunity that few clubs can present.

The opportunity is:

  • A role as either a coach or an assistant coach with a great team.

  • A coaching mentor that will provide support, but will not be prescriptive of overbearing - you will be able to coach your way.

  • Paid coaching experiences with our academy.

  • Financial support in securing your FFA Coaching accreditations.

  • A spot in our State League level squad, with fees waived.

We are looking for coaches who are supportive, positive, and energetic. We want coaches who are going to help junior players fall in love with the game.

We are looking for coaches who have played at a high level. This opportunity is perfect for WNPL players looking to transition into the next phase of their football journey.
